Meridian Tapping  often referred to as Emotional Freedom Techniques ( EFT) was designed by  Gary Craig, a personal performance coach in California.  Gary teaches people how to ovecome emotional and physical blocks to success and has been very generous with his discoveries.  EFt is a very effective and simple to use.  Click here to visit Gary Craig’s EFT site.

EFt is a form of psychological acupunture that uses the ancient Chinese meridian system to balance the energy system by stimulating designated meridian endpoints on the face an body.  It is easy to apply and  safe when used as directed.

EFT Tapping Scripts

Disclaimer:

Please be aware that this, and any associated web-sites, is not intended to be a substitute for appropriate, qualified medical care from doctors or other health-care providers. As EFT has only been used in its current form since the mid 1990s it may be considered still in the experimental stage. Therefore all users of EFT, both practitioners and laymen, must take complete and personal responsibility for their use of it.

Script for Controlling Cravings:

Cravings can be hard to control especially when you’re stressed out so here is a meridiantapping  script that will help you control any craving. Just subsitute your personal craving for the cheesecake .

Meridian tapping will put you in control of your craving and you can eventually eliminate the craving with persistance. Once  you  get to the emotional cause behind the craving, the faster you will completely eliminate your  behavior.

The best time to do this tapping is right when you have the craving .

You can either visualize what you crave or have what you crave right in front of you. . On a scale from 0-10, where 10 is  ”I want it now” and 0 is “ I don’t want it”, rate you level of craving. Write this down. Now work through the EFT tapping points as follows:

Karate Chop
Point:
Even though I crave this  cheesecake really badly, I deeply love and accept myself. Even though I know this is not healthy for me but I deserve the treat, I deeply love and accept myself. Even though I’d feel deprived if I couldn’t have this, I deeply love and accept myself.
Head: This craving for cheesecake
Eyebrows: This craving for cheesecake
Side of Eyes: This craving for cheesecake
Under Eyes This craving for cheesecake
Under Nose: This craving for cheesecake
Chin Point: This craving for cheesecake
Collarbones: This craving for cheesecake
Under Arms: This craving for cheesecake

Now re-evaluate you level of craving. Is it  reduced or  increased? You may need to do a few more sessions to completely reduce the craving.

Loving Your Body Script:

Loving your body is so important that I created a script.  Love your body ..Hug your body

Karate Chop (setup): Even though I don’t know how to  appreciate my body , I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Even though I’ve been  focusing more on what’s wrong with my body, than on what’s
right, I love and accept myself anyway.
Even though there are so many things I’d like  to change about my body, I love and
accept myself anyway.

Even though I haven’t appreciated my body in the past,  I’m willing to consider the idea that I can appreciate my body fully and completely just the way it is right now.

Eyebrow: I don’t want to appreciate my body
Side of Eye: I keep focusing on the things I don’t like about my body
Under Eye: There are so many things I want to change about my body
Under Nose: This body is not the body I want
Chin: I refuse to appreciate my body
Collarbone: I won’t appreciate my body until it looks the way I want it to look
Under Arm: This  body I have now
Top of Head: I don’t know whether I’m ready to appreciate it

Eyebrow: Maybe I can find a few things to appreciate about my body
Side of Eye: Maybe I can start to focus on all the parts that are really working right
Under Eye: So many things in my body are working perfectly for me
Under Nose: I just haven’t been noticing what’s going right because I’m focusing on all the things I don’t like

Chin: I’m opening up to a new attitude
Collarbone: That I can find something to appreciate about my body
Under Arm: I’m willing  appreciate my body just as it is
Top of Head: I really have a beautiful body
